Last season was for Holwerda Cycling a kind of transition season. But let's start to look at the highlights:
Derek Joling had the only win of the season at Tears of Dalani Pass and he managed a podium of Patryk Drozdowski Trophy Cup.
Skyler Popken got a nice podium in Zürich-Bern-Zürich.
Julian De Ruiter managed to get a second place in the GC of Germany Tour.
The transition meant that 22 team changes took place with five retirements, six new talents and three big riders leaving the team: Dirk-Jan Helwig, Jochem Ploeger and Derek Joling.
I expect season 56 to be much more calm with respect to the changes and we will focus more on results. We will try to get many points with Mart Diepstraten and Gert Luysen. And we will try to participate in every Top Division tour.
A summary of the points (2250) and money (241k) earned:
Skyler Popken 580 points, 60k
Mart Diepstraten 390 points, 39k
